Our sustainability strategy in Singapore focuses on enhancing the resilience of our communities:

Sustainable philanthropic giving through our Philanthropic Pledge

  • In 2023, we launched our Philanthropic Pledge to support philanthropic giving in a sustainable way. With every purchase of SunBrilliance Indexed Universal Life II or SunBrilliance Whole Life, we will donate 0.5% from the premiums received, with a cap of US$20,000 per policy.
  • Our Philanthropic Pledge donation is channelled to our "Life is Brighter" charity fund1 to support local health and financial literacy causes. Through this initiative, we’re inspiring others to become advocates of philanthropy and build a giving legacy to empower communities in need.
  • We are the first life insurer in Singapore to incorporate upfront charitable giving into life insurance policies. With this social impact feature built in our insurance solutions, we are also recognised for our product innovation.

Promoting healthier lives through sports

  • In support of our ambition to prevent type 2 diabetes in underserved communities, we partnered with the global sport for social change foundation, Beyond Sport, to launch our regional Hoops + Health programme.
  • Since 2023, the programme has helped young people across Asia to get active through basketball, with over 48,000 lives impacted including 1,200 in Singapore.

Our stories of impact

Empowering financial resilience

  • The programme delivers practical financial education through workshops, toolkits, and structured training. In 2026, we aim to reach more than 30,000 domestic workers across Asia, equipping participants with essential financial knowledge and confidence.
